The Tennessee Central Railway Museum is located in Nashville, Tennessee and is dedicated to preserving the railroad heritage of Tennessee. The Nashville facility is host to a collection of unique historic equipment where guests are invited to ride on their historic passenger trains and enjoying the full experience of rail travel.

 

 

The TCRM is proud of their specialty of operating historic trains while providing an opportunity to ride unique 1950’s vintage trains along straight through the center of beautiful Tennessee. Their ever growing collection of historic equipment such as preserved passenger cars, freight cars, cabooses, and locomotives. The museum also houses offices, a collection of railroad material, a library and the most extensive collection of Tennessee Central Railway artifacts to be found anywhere.

 

 

Passenger excursions have been running since 1989 from Nashville to points east with present destinations including Lebanon, Cookeville, Watertown, Tennessee, and Monterey. Most of the trains offer deluxe accommodations in the special cars which are available an additional fee. Refreshments and souvenirs are offered on-board and most trains typically offer air-conditioned coaches. Their special events rides include Day Out with Thomas, Fall Mile-Long Yard Sale Trip, Super Fall Foliage Trip, Train Robbery Trip, Murder Mystery Train, and North Pole Express train with Santa.
